Dreams are about playing with ideas - things I might want but not yet sure whether I really want to happen or whether the dream is more appealing than the reality. These are things that flitter through your mind in boring meetings or waiting for buses - they are like sketches, experiments about what you might want. They are useful for inspiration and sitraction but often need careful consideration. Lots of people say 'I wish I didn't have to work' when what they really want is to work differently - to do something that it meaningful for them, or to work for themselves, or to work 3 or 4 days a week rather than 5 or 6; or to work for 6 months of the year and do something else the rest of the time. Use dreaming as your sketchbook - a time and place to let your imagination run free and see where it takes you Wishes are a bit more considered - they are the things you have dreamed about and defined and are wondering how to make them happen. They are not certain but wishes can be very powerful. The difference between a dream (not sure if I want it to happen) and a wish (I do want it to happen). Moving from dreaming to wishing is about moving from planning to action. Wants are things that are probably going to happen - I want a drink of water - here it is a pretty easy thing to make happen (if I were lost in the middle of desert this might be a very different thing). They are things that are so close, you can be fairly certain of getting them.
